Wise Fear vs Foolish Fear

“It seems to me that the less I fight my fear, the less it fights back. If I can relax, fear relaxes, too.”
― Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear

Fear is a natural feeling, but there are many grades and shades of fear.

Wise fear keeps you awake, aware and able to deal with the things you can change.

Foolish fear is neurotic fear. It haunts you, occupies your mind  – with events that may never happen.

This post is inspired by Russell Edward Brand, an English comedian, actor, radio host, author, and activist.
