When I am real with myself, I learn.
If I am very honest with myself right now what is motivating me is self-preservation. While I want to be self-less, while I want to help others, I am also frightened and frozen at moments. The world is falling apart around us and I have no desire to be apart of the collective.
If the collective is lost at sea, if all is not right with the world, why would I want to follow?
I don’t want to follow, I want to lead with my heart.
Yet, when I pull away from the news, from the media, from the hysteria and hype, I know that everything is alright in this moment right now.
All inside of me is peaceful right now. That is the truth, right now.
As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.
Proverbs 23:7
It is the earnestness and the motive in your heart that is most important.
